November 13, 2010 The World Theater 2010 World Premier of December People was completely sold out with audience members purchasing standing room only tickets to get in to see the concert. The band received a tremendous standing ovation at the end of the show. The band also visited with audience member in the theater lobby, signing autographs and taking pictures with their fans. The Can Jam Food Drive was a great success!!! A collaboration with the Cal State University Monterey Bay World Theater and HIPPO FM104.3 radio netted people food and pet food for the Monterey and San Benito County Food Banks and the Monterey County SPCA. The World Theater lobby was filled with an estimated 2,000 lbs of food donations to help those in need this Holiday Season. Because of the fantastic audience response and the food drive, the producers plan to bring December People and the canned food drive back again next year. |
